Linda Gail Phillips Freeman, age 69, of Blowing Rock, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021, at Watauga Medical Center.

The daughter of the late O. D. and Jean Phillips, Linda was born and grew up in Mississippi, then relocated to Raleigh, NC.

In 1986 she met Carl Freeman and they were married in 1988.

Linda spent many years helping Carl grow his insurance business and they traveled the world together.

She was a member at First Baptist Church in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Linda loved being involved in and encouraging the online service and helping out in the church office folding bulletins. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Freeman of Blowing Rock; Son, Chris Vick (VeeVee); and Granddaughters', Reese, and Hartley Vick of Raleigh; and fur baby, "Moose".

A celebration of life for Linda will be held Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 11:00 O'clock at First Baptist Church of Blowing Rock. Pastor Rusty Guenther will officiate. Friends and family will be invited to share any memories they have of Linda.

The family will receive friends following the service.
