Zionville, NC- Tonnia Lynn Sanders, 54, of Zionville, died Wednesday, October 18, 2023.  Born February 1, 1969, in Watauga County, she was the daughter of the late David Franklin Sanders and Brenda Fletcher Sanders of Zionville.

Other than her father, she is preceded in death by her uncle, Larry Sanders, her aunts, Lois Townsend, Aretta Carroll, her paternal Grandfather, Frank Robert Sanders, maternal Grandmother, Blanche Greer and cousin, Jonathan Sanders.

Other than her mother, Brenda, she is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Walls, of Zionville; her sister, Sonya Gray and husband Mark of Zionville; her uncles, Johnny Sanders and wife Debbie of Zionville; Casey Carroll of Deep Gap; her aunts, Esther Perry and husband Morris of Zionville; Joyce Hartzog and husband Basil of West Jefferson; Lori Candler of Zionville; Joann Sanders of Zionville; her paternal grandmother, Beulah Sanders of Zionville; her nephew, Noah Gray of Zionville and many cousins and other relatives.

A Private Graveside service will be conducted at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Derick Wilson and Pastor Allan Perry officiating.
