Teresa Ann King Edmisten passed away peacefully in her sleep at home early on Saturday, April 22, 2023.

She was born in Montgomery County, NC, on March 10, 1959, and was currently living in Swansboro, NC, with her husband of almost 31 years, Gary L. Edmisten of Boone, NC. She retired from 26 years of nursing in 2010. She is survived by both of her parents, one sister and her family, and one brother and all of his family. Teresa and Gary had no children. She loved the beach, fishing, shooting firearms with Gary, enjoyed seeing Gary play bass in his many bands over the years, was a multi instrumental musician herself, loved to travel, was an accomplished cook and artist as well (in watercolors, pencil and ink), and was loved by everyone she met.
