Sharon Ann McLeod age 77, of Zionville passed away Sunday June 28, 2026, at Glenbridge Health and Rehab.

She was born February 18, 1949, in Harnett County, North Carolina. The daughter of the late Jefferson Franklin McLeod and Fern Lee Griffith McLeod.

She is survived by two brothers, James McLeod of Zionville and Jeff McLeod of Zionville; one sister Melanie Eggers and husband Ronald of Zionville; two nieces, Malinda Trivette and Jamie Trivette of Boone; great nieces and nephews, Devon Trivette of Zionville; Dustin Green of Boone; Frankie Green of Texas; Dalton Green of Boone; Jonathan Eggers of Zionville; Kathy Isaacs of Zionville; Makahyla Archie of Sparta and Jeremiah Archie of Boone.

In addition to her father and mother she was preceded in death by a sister Robin Kathie Trivette.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Tuesday July 7, 2026, at Hampton Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00, prior to the service.
