Scott Kent Gladden, age 68, of Blowing Rock passed away Friday, September 29, 2023, at his home.

He was born February 24, 1955, in Ohio. A son of the late Wayne Kent Gladden and Dolores Norman Gladden.

He is survived by his wife, Sara Cochran Gladden of Blowing Rock, one daughter, Kelly Gladden Norris and husband Phillip of Boone, one brother, Christopher Allen Gladden of Winston-Salem, one aunt, Beverly Dale and husband Arthur of Winston-Salem, one niece, Heidi Gladden and one nephew, Christopher Gladden, Jr.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Watauga County Humane Society, 312 Paws Way, Boone, NC 28607.
