It is with tears of sadness and a broken heart I need to let you know that Bob (Robert Charles) Alge passed away on November 3, 2023, of bladder cancer. He was a man of few words, a dry sense of humor, intelligence (Fulbright Scholar through Duke University and the Academy of Rome) and a passion of love for his family – Gloria, Dylan and Brett. Bob loved his brothers, Dick and Joe, his sisters-in-law Betty and Brenda, and his daughter-in-law Rae.

Bob was known for his love of golf and pickleball (friends called him "All Day Alge"), Miami Hurricane football and gin martinis. A lifelong educator, Bob touched countless lives. Saying goodbye to Bob is so hard, but when you think of him, think of the song "On Eagle's Wings."

No celebration of life is planned. Gifts can be made to your favorite charity in his name.
