Ray M. Miller, age 84 of Boone, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2023, at his home.

He was born October 24, 1939, in Watauga County. A son of the late Howard and Blanche Miller. He was a member of Rich Mountain Baptist Church and was a Veteran having served in the United State Army.

He is survived by one sister, Elizabeth Woods of Atlanta, Georgia and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father and mother he was preceded in death by, one sister, Gladys Townsend, and two brothers, Wade Miller and Carl Miller.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, 29, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Bethelview Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Bethelview Methodist Church Cemetery. Reverend Kenny Newberry will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00, prior to the service.
