Mrs. Paulette Ward, age 76, of 1951 Russ Norris Road, Elk Park, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Watauga Medical Center.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Ward; two daughters, Crystal Ward of Jacksonville, Florida, and Kendra Ward and husband, Jip Kongruengkit, of Charlotte, North Carolina; and two grandsons, Charlie Sheeler and Sam Sheeler, both of Jacksonville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick H. and Lois Trivett Jones; her sister, Taru Jones; and two brothers, Kyle Jones and Paul Jones.

Paulette found joy in life's simple pleasures—spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Most of all, she treasured her roles as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

A graveside service for family and friends will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Beech Valley Community Cemetery, with Reverend Max West officiating.
