Patricia Ann "Pat" Wilson age 72, of Vilas passed away on March 1, 2023 at Watauga Medical Center of Boone.

She was born February 5, 1951, in Watauga County to the late Clinard E. and Clara Norris Wilson.

In addition to her father and mother, she was preceded in death by her sister, Billie Jo Greene.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by her daughter Beth Childres and husband Randy of Connelly Springs, son Richard Henson and wife Debbie of Vilas, and daughter Christy Warren and husband Bradley of Vilas, a brother, Bennie "Mike" Wilson and wife Kathy of Boone, a granddaughter, Lindsay Ford and husband Sam of Vilas, four grandsons, Nathan Hodges and wife Brittany of Vilas, Ryan Henson and wife Kelsey of Banner Elk, Brandon Warren and wife Lindsey of Lenoir, and Caleb Childress of Connelly Springs, five great grandchildren, Paisley and Cooper Hodges of Vilas, Easton Lane Henson of Banner Elk, Jaxxon and Everleigh Ford of Vilas.

She is also survived by a nephew, Daren Greene of Acworth, GA and niece Haley Walton of Boone and a dear friend Mrs. Maxie Presnell

The funeral services will be conducted Sunday March 5, 2023, at 3:00 PM at Hampton Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Derick Wilson and Pastor Thomas Brown will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Lawn Cemetery in Boone, NC.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 3:00, prior to the service.
