Patricia Irene Miller Israel age 88, of Boone passed away Wesnesday August 19, 2026.

She was born March 26, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan. A daughter of the late Charles Lee Miller, Jr. and Nettie Irene Davis Miller. She retired from Belks Department Store, was a faithful member of Calgary Church. She loved sewing, quilting, she loved to cook for her family and especially for holidays. She was also a very talented painter.

She is survived by her children, Michael Steven Israel and wife Jeanette of Hickory; Pamela Israel Kilby of Millers Creek; Thomas Lee Israel and wife Martha of Appleton, Wisconsin; Lisa Carol Fulk and husband Tony of Banner Elk and Amy Church and husband Gary of Boone, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her father and mother she was preceded by her husband Judson Wesley Israel, one son-in-law, Jerry Sylvan Kilby and one sister Elizabeth Anne Ballew.

A private family service will be held.
