Noreen Carmen Varney, age 62 of Boone, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023, at Watauga Medical Center.

She was born October 20, 1960, in Brownsville, Texas. A daughter of the late Russell and Carmen Varney.

She is survived by two daughters, Irene Carrier of Boone and Jade Demery and husband Eddie of Boone, boyfriend, Wayne Lambert of Fleetwood, one grandson,Koah Demery of Boone and one sister, Marilee Lewis of Boone.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
