Michael Linden Shroyer, age 73, of Boone, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Watauga Medical Center.

He was born December 10, 1948, in Richmond, Virginia. A son of the late Donald and Novelene Shroyer.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Shroyer of Boone; one son, Linden Shroyer of Salt Lake City, Utah; two daughters, Heather Dowdy and husband Matthew of Stanton, Virginia and Laurel Hanke and husband David of Arlington, Virginia; one sister Suzanne Horris and husband Stephen of Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina and five grandchildren, Gabriel Dowdy, Mccrae Hanke, Bennett Hanke, Helen Hanke, and James Howard Hanke. He is also survived by many cousins.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
