Lloyd Edward Turrisi, age 77 of Laurel Springs formerly of Fleetwood passed away at Johnson City VA Hospital on Thursday evening November 16, 2023. Lloyd was born August 31, 1946, in Lowell, Massachusetts. He was preceded in death by his parents Shirley Supernant Hagin and Aaron Hagin.

He was a proud Veteran having served in the United States Army from 1966-1972 as a Military Police and he loved his country.

He was a retired electrician by trade. In his spare time after he retired, he could be found helping out with odd jobs at Makoto's. Beyond his work Lloyd loved the simple pleasures of life. But most of all he loved his two sons and four grandsons. His grandsons were his pride and joy.

He is survived by his best friend and companion Rayna Hicks, two sons, Joseph Turrisi and wife Angela of Fleetwood, Shane Turrisi and wife Danielle of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, four grandsons, Thomas and Christopher Turrisi of Fleetwood, and Shane, Jr and Daniel Turrisi of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, his step-mother, Lucy Hagin of Jefferson, NC; three sisters, Shirley Pate of Tallapoosa, Georgia, Debbie Viers and husband Johnny of Laurel Springs and Rita Phipps and husband Mark of Crumpler, five nephews, Jamie Pate, Trevor Pate, Tony Miller, Terry Miller, and Ray Phipps. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and one great-great-nice.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 2:30 PM at Turrisi Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 at Hampton Funeral Home Chapel.
