Henry Jefferson Weaver, age 85, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at North Carolina State Veterans Home in Salisbury.

He was born May 9, 1941, in Statesville, North Carolina. The son of the late Robert Franklin Weaver and Nancy Leinster Weaver. He was also preceded in death by his wife Sallie Marie Miller Weaver. He was a retired Lieutenant Colonel, having served in the United States Marine Corps.

He is survived by one brother Benton F. Weaver and wife Marsha of Venice Florida; one sister Judith S. Weaver of Troutman, North Carolina; one step-son Scott Miller and wife Tina of Washington, North Carolina; one granddaughter Maddie Campbell and husband Jay of Washington, North Carolina; one grandson Spencer Miller and wife Olivia of Charlotte, North Carolina and one great-grandson John Campbell of Washington, North Carolina; and nephews  Mark and Alicia Weaver and children, Jason Weaver and children.

A service for Mr. Weaver will be conducted at Bethesda Presbyterian Church, 802 Bethesda Road, Statesville, N. C. 28677 on June 8, 2026, at 2:00 P.M.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday June 9, 2026, at Mount Lawn Memorial Park and Gardens, 521 Old King Street Boone, North Carolina 28607. Pastor Allan Perry will officiate.

Memorial donations may go to Bethesda Presbyterian Church.
