Helen Lee Smitherman age 84 of Boone passed away Friday November 29, 2024, at Glenbridge Health and Rehab.

She was born October 11, 1940, in Watauga County. A daughter of the late Grady and Susie Adams. She was a retired bookkeeper and was of the baptist faith.

She is survived by two sisters, Jean Smitherman and Shirley Tester, one nephew Doug Tester, one great-niece Hannah Tester and two great-nephews Noah Tester, Trayton Tester and wife Taylor.

Services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Friday December 6, 2024, at Mount Lawn Memorial Park and Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Reverend Doug Tester will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Lawn Memorial Park and Gardens.

The family respectfully request no food or flowers. In lieu of memorials may be made to the donors choice.
