Hartridge Davis Walker passed away peacefully at the age of 70 with family by his side on Friday, March 27, 2026.

Davis was born in Greenwood, SC and later moved to Brunswick, GA and graduated from Glynn Academy High School in 1974.
Davis has been employed with The Wilcox Family since moving to Boone, NC in 1981 where he met many friends who also became his family.

He was preceded in death by his father Howard Walker, Sr. and his longtime companion Connie Starnes who he missed every day.
Survivors include his two daughters Priscilla (Bryan) Bratcher and Michel (Kevin) Dunham, four grandchildren Dalton (Olivia) Head, Austin (Jade) Head, Mallory Merrill and Ava Dunham, One great grandson Declan Head, Mother Gloria Davis Walker, brother Howard (Terri) Walker Jr, sister Stepheny Kirton, several nieces and nephews and best friend and in laws Boonie and Jean Miller and their daughter Mickey.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 11:00 AM Friday April 3, 2026, at Hampton Funeral Home Chapel.
