Geraldine Lavonne Grogan Wallace age 100 of Trade, Tennessee passed away Friday, August 28, 2026, at Deerfield Ridge Assisted Living.

She was born June 18, 1926, in Johnson County, Tennessee. The daughter of the late Hunter and Ollie Warren Grogan, she was a 1945 graduate of Johnson County High School and a member of Zionville Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and farmer and was employed by Sprague Electric Co. for 27 years. Her love of travel took her all over North America to 47 states, Canada, and Mexico. She was an active member of and volunteer at Johnson County Senior Center.

She is survived by one son, Lynn Wallace and wife Dianne of Ooltewah, Tennessee; one daughter, Carolyn Wells and husband Larry of Zionville; six grandchildren, Susan Johnson (Jason), Jeremy Wallace (Dana), Amanda Bridges (Chris), David Wallace (Kelly), Elizabeth Lewis (Isaiah), James Wallace (Candace), and eight great-grandchildren and one brother-in-law, Richard Hodge of Ooltewah, Tennessee. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father and mother she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Glenn Wallace and three sisters, Irene Warren, Betty Whitlock and Rebecca Hodge.

Funeral services will be conducted 4:00 PM Monday August 31, 2026, at Zionville Baptist Church. Entombment will follow in Zionville Baptist Church Mausoleum. Reverend Jeremy Wallace will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00, prior to the service.
