Todd, NC- Mrs. Freda Ann Miller, 94, of Todd, died Monday, September 29, 2025, in the Margate Health and Rehabilitation Center in Jefferson. Born March 24, 1931, in Ashe County, she was the daughter of the late Rayner Lawrence and Mable Day Scott and wife of the late James Herbert Miller.

Other than her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Dean Scott and sister-in-law, Jeannie Scott.

Mrs. Miller is survived by a brother, Larry Scott and wife Evelyn of West Jefferson; 2 nephews, Randall Scott and wife Kim and Chad Scott and wife Michelle, all of Fleetwood; Great-nephews, Trey Scott of Fleetwood; Chase Scott and wife Haley of Fleetwood; Caleb Scott of Lakeland, FL; a Great-niece, Savannah Scott and fiancé Michael Ausburn, of Knoxville, TN; and one Great-great-niece, Saige Scott.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 PM Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Zion Church of Mill Creek with Reverend Randy Miller officiating.  Burial will follow in the Zion Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, one hour prior to the service from 2:00 until 3:00.
