Frank Dee Norris, 93, passed away Friday, October 16, 2026, at his home in Lenoir.Frank was born on May 2, 1933, to the late Bynum and Sarah.Those left to cherish Frank’s memory are his children, Michael Norris (wife Nancy), Mark Norris, Dennis Norris (wife Denise), and Gordon Helms whom Frank considered like a son; grandchildren, Tabitha Hargis (husband Corey), Grayson Helms (wife Amy), Ashley O’Neil (husband Mike), Ashley Howe, Angela Bumgarner (husband Chris), David Norris (wife Kimberly), Samantha Taylor (husband Storm); eight great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren; brother, Ronda; sisters, Betty and Patsy; nephew, Steve Norris; and numerous other loved family members.Frank was a brick mason for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Frank was good at fixing things. He was great at welding and making wood stoves all the time. Frank was a family man who took pride in providing for his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, and Paw-Paw. A service to celebrate Frank’s life will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Rick Bowman officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir with Military Honors. Evans Funeral Service is honored to serve the family of Frank Dee Norris.
