Francesca Johnson, 94, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2026 at her home in Linville Ridge, North Carolina. Born on May 6, 1932, Francesca grew up in the Los Angeles, California area.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and husbands. She is survived by her son, Christopher Kralick, two stepchildren, Julie Scalise and Ross Johnson, whom she loved as her own, 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Active throughout her life she was an avid golfer, tennis and croquet player who also loved tending to her flowers.

A celebration of life, recently held at the Linville Ridge Country Club was a testament to how valuable friends were to her and how much she was loved by them in return. She truly regretted that her rapidly declining health prevented her from returning to Florida to embrace her friends at the Key Largo Anglers Club and the Ocean Reef Club one last time.

She loved all the gifts, food, calls, text messages, cards, flowers and visits she received in her final days. But she especially valued, and wanted all her close friends, caregivers, hospice workers, and hospital staff who recently cared for her know how much she appreciated all the physical and mental support they provided in her time of need.

Per her wish, there will be no memorial service.
