Creston, NC- Mrs. Evelyn Price Shelton, age 69, of Creston, died Friday, December 8, 2023 at her home.  Born August 1, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Thurman and Villa Callaway Price and the wife of the late John Shelton.

Evelyn was a hard working person, working on the farm and restaurants, but will mostly be remembered as a dedicated caregiver to many.

Other than her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a sister, Brenda.

She is survived by her son, Daniel Shelton and wife Veronica of Creston; 4 sisters, Bev, Linda, Glenda and Speedy, along with many other family and friends.

At Evelyn's request, there are no services planned.

Hampton Funeral Services of Boone is in charge of arrangements.
