Evelyn Linda Dancy, age 70, of Zionville passed away Friday, April 7, 2023, in Valdese.

She was born August 20, 1952, in Johnson County, Tennessee. A daughter of the late Conley Forrester and Louise Woodard Forrester.

She is survived by her husband, Ronda Dancy of Zionville, one daughter, Amy Dancy and fiancée Timmy Ward of Union, South Carolina, one granddaughter, Autumn Rose Ward of Union, South Carolina, one sister, Theresa Roberts and husband Arnold of Piney Flats, Tennessee, one sister-in-law, Nancy Forrester of Shady Valley, Tennessee and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her father and mother she was preceded in by one sister, Karen Forrester and one brother, Floyd Forrester.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Hampton Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00, prior to the service.
