Boone, NC- Mrs. Emily Main, age 83, died Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at her home.  Born October 27, 1939, in Pilot Mountain, NC, she was the daughter of the late Mallery and Sheila Marion Crissman.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Gail Main Isaac and a brother, Brent Crissman.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Main of the home; two sons, Roy Main, and wife Debbie of Boone; Lewis Main and wife Sue of High Point; daughter, Janet Hicks and husband Jimmy of Vilas; her sister, Betty Pierce; and her brother, Junior Crissman.  She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 PM Sunday, June 11, 2023, in the Chapel of Hampton Funeral Service with Pastor Burl Greer and Pastor Mike Townsend officiating.  Burial will follow in the Vanderpool Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Sunday prior to the service from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at Hampton Funeral Service.

The family respectfully requests no food.
