Elizabeth Ward Newcomb, age 55, of Hudson passed away Friday, November 10, 2023, at her home.

She was born September 30, 1968, in Watauga County. A daughter of the late Billy Adam Ward and Mary Love Ward. She was a homemaker and a member of Chapel of Hope Church.

She is survived by four daughters, Amanda Newcomb Ward and husband Cody of Granite Falls, Christina Newcomb and partner Antonio Ellerbee of Lenoir, Jessica Newcomb and husband Shane Fulp of Lenoir and Samantha Reece and husband James of Newland, two sisters, Wanda Goble and husband Donald of Vilas and Ivey Hollins and husband Richard of Lenoir, grandchildren, Karson, Zahki, Diamond, Xavier, Elizabeth, Tristan, Malik, Austin, Hunter, Zach, Bryson, Mikey, and Jerrica and the father of her children, Ray Newcomb of Granite Falls.

In addition to her father and mother she was preceded in death by one sister, Bertha Spradling and one brother, Billy Joe Ward.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Hampton Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Mike Spicer will officiate. Interment will be private.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00, prior to the service.
