Elizabeth Ann Clawson age 75 of Boone passed away Saturday September 19, 2026, at Deerfield Ridge Assisted Living.

She was born May 2, 1951, in Watauga County. The daughter of the late Opal Byers Clawson Banner, and John Clawson.

She was the kindest aunt that you could imagine, a loyal friend, a lover of music, dancing, and animals. Always generous with her time, talents, and treasure.

She is survived one Nephew. Tanner Hodges, and wife Beth, and their children, Judson, Tate, Julia, and Marie, two nieces, Opal Elizabeth Vermillion, and husband Jesse, and their daughters Abigail and Eleanor and Ruby Kathryn Nelson, and husband Zackary, and their son Marshall.

In addition to her father and mother he was preceded in death by one sister Elaine Clawson Hodges, and partner, Dave Pickard.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Saturday October 3, 2026, at Hampton Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Meat Camp Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00, prior to the service.
