Donald Henry Roth passed away peacefully on Monday, June 15th, 2026, at the age of 87. He was preceded in death by his wife Darlene Ann Jones Roth and his brother James R. Roth.

Donald graduated from Roxbury High School in Succasunna, NJ. He attended Rutgers University in Newark, graduating with a degree in Physics. While Donald had a long and successful career as an Electrical and Chemical Engineer, his true passion was music. He could often be heard playing one of the many instruments he acquired during his lifetime and was the choir director for many years at the New Apostolic Church. He was also a devoted supporter of the Christian Children's Fund, sponsoring a child in Honduras for many years. In his younger days, Donald was also a Ham Radio operator.

Donald is survived by his daughter, Susan Kingsley and husband, Jonathan of Mountain City, TN; son, David Roth and wife, Heidi of Arlington, MA; grandchildren, Marissa Cameron (husband Joseph) and Jared Needell (wife Erin), and Maya and Owen Roth, great-grandchildren Kaycie Cameron, Teddy Needell, and Howie Needell, sisters Leslie Bennett and Laurie Benett, and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, July 11th, 2026, at the New Apostolic Church, 922 Greenway Road in Woodbridge, CT.

A memorial gathering will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, July 13th, 2026, at Hollywood Cemetery, 1621 Stuyvesant Avenue in Union, NJ.
