David Eric Presnell, age 60 of Boone Passed away Friday, November 17, 2023, in Charlotte at Atrium Medical Center.

David was born in Avery County, NC on September 3rd, 1963. David lived a happy life, with his best friend and constant companion Lilly, his dog, by his side. He loved being with his family and friends, enjoying the wonder of God's creation when his health would allow. He loved to walk and see what he could discover on trails and roads, wondering at the beauty of our mountains.

David was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Barbara Church Presnell, his sister Sandra Moretz, and his
brothers Billy, Bobby, and Scottie Presnell. He is survived by his best friend and faithful dog Lilly, his sister Kathy
Pennell and husband Rick of Fleetwood NC, two brothers Steve Presnell of Boone, NC, Chris Presnell and wife
Megan of Delta, OH, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. We all will miss the laughter and joy of our time together and know he loved us, and left us knowing he was loved.

Services for David will be private, but we would like to thank our friends, family, and neighbors for all the calls and
prayers following his passing. In lieu of flowers, donations to offset the cost of services would be appreciated
