David James Gelderman, age 61, of Boone passed away Monday, January 2, 2023, at Watauga Medical Center.

He is survived by his wife Tammie Gelderman of Boone, three daughters, Joviona Parham of Hickory, LaShey Reid of Lebanon, Maine and Shawna LaFlamme and husband Joe of Lebanon, Maine and one sister, Nancy Armstrong and husband Joel of Butler, Tennessee. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Charles Gelderman and Patricia Adams; one sister, Martha Adam-Birtel, and two brothers, Dan and Richard Gelderman.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
