I'll Fly Away!

Carmen is home with her Lord and Savior, having a joyous reunion with her sons, Josh and Paul. Please rejoice for her, as she is no longer burdened by these earthly shackles.

If you knew Carmen at all, you know that she loved her children and grandchildren generously and unconditionally. Although she leaves us behind, smile and remember whatever she brought to your life, whether it was a word of encouragement, laughter, or a meal. Please know in your heart that as she loved and treasured her family, she felt the same for you.

If you see any of us around town, please share a memory you have of our mom/grandma, for again, this loss we feel in our hearts and lives is a good thing. Our mom/grandma is no longer in pain and is celebrating with Josh and Paul, as well as with other family and friends who have moved on from this Earth.

The family will have a private memorial at some point in the future. For now, if you feel led, please donate any amount to The Hunger and Health Coalition or Seby B. Jones Regional Cancer Center. But in whatever way, what mom/grandma would want most is for you to feed you soul.
