Bonnie May Coffey, age 67, of Boone, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at Watauga Medical Center.

She was born March 6, 1955, in Watauga County. A daughter of the late John and Helen Coffey. She loved her sons, grandchildren, her great-grandson, and her pets. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She is survived by two sons, David Auton and wife April of Boone and Bryan Auton and wife Tiffany of Boone, grandchildren, David, Brook, Kristiyn, Scooter and Abigail, one great-grandson, Luca, brothers, Lonnie Coffey and wife Linda, Dan Coffey and wife Edith, Jessie Coffey and Howard Coffey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father and mother she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Winebarger and Verlene Huffman, one brother, Harley Coffey, two sisters-in-law, Brenda Coffey and Ramona Coffey and three nieces, Nicole, Diana and Amy.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, January 29, 2023, at 2:30 PM at Westview Baptist Church. Pastor Bradley Swift will officiate. Interment will follow in Townsend Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30, prior to the service.
