Betty Watson Grubb, age 84 of Bluff City, Tennessee passed away Tuesday October 24, 2023, at her home.

She was born January 21, 1939, in Watauga County. A daughter of the late Raymond and Ophelia Parsons Watson. Mrs. Grubb was a member of Brushy Fork Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Sammy Grubb of Bluff City, Tennessee, one daughter, Peggy South and husband Jessie of Zionville, one son, Jonathan Bingham and wife Michelle of Newton and one step-son, Jonathan Grubb and wife Crystal of Bluff City, Tennessee, two sisters, Louise Greene and husband Wilson of Zionville and Donna Kohn and husband David of Boone and one brother, Walter Edward Watson of Boone, seven grandchildren, Kim Towery, Jesse South, Jr and wife Gloria, Jessica South, Julian Bingham, Nicholas Bingham, Lindsey Bingham and William Winkler, four great-grandchildren, Kara Tester, Zeb South, Elise South and Nathaniel South and three great-great-grandchildren, Jace Ray, Zoe South and Edison Bui. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father and mother she was preceded in death by one sister, Edith Isaacs and three brothers,Robert, Dennis and Glenn Watson.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, October 29, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Hampton Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Adams Cemetery. Pastor Allan Perry will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00, prior to the service.
