Andy Charles Rominger age 59, of Elk Park went home to be with the Lord on Thursday July 16, 2026, at his residence.

He was born April 8, 1967, in Lancaster Pennsylvania. The son of the late Charlie and Rosie Laws Rominger.

Andy was a hard worker all his life from tobacco fields from a young age to working for Goodnight Brothers Country Ham for 30 plus years. Through his illness he never once complained.. If you asked him how he was doing he would always have the same well known responce "oh I'm fat and sassy".

Andy walked strong in his faith in the Lord and loved his church family at Charity Baptist Church. He was quoted as saying "either way this goes, God has me taken care of". Andy you will be dearly missed. This is not goodbye but see ya later in Heaven.

He was proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents Spencer and Ora Rominger, maternal grandparents Luke and Beulah Laws, his parents Charlie and Rosie Rominger, an infant brother Daniel and two nephews Tony and Daniel.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years Lisa Rominger and son Austin both of the home, brothers Tommy Rominger, David Rominger and wife April and Ronnie Rominger and wife Nikki and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Sunday July 19, 2026, at Charity Baptist Church, address 261 Dave Greene Road Vilas, NC.  Interment will follow in Lower Beaver Dam Cemetery. Pastor Justin Dancy will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00, prior to the service.
